Anyone have it yet? What do you think of it? We picked our up today and our loving it so far! Only thing is the view seems far away. Like I wish you could zoom in just a bit. Maybe I'm too used to the DS one lol.

Hey guys,

I'm having two weird issues concerning PSN, and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had these problems or if anyone might know how to deal with this stuff...

1. I have Beatles Rock Band for PS3, and the game doesn't show up on my list of games on my Trophies page on the US Playstation website. My total trophy count is correct, but if you add up all the trophies in the games in the list, it's short by exactly how many trophies I have in Beatles Rock Band. Strangely, the game does show up in my list of games on the Trophies page of the EU Playstation website. I called Sony about this today and they tried to tell me that this game is European and that it's not going to show up because of that. We all know that's bull, and I even called EA to tell them about this as well, and the guy at EA laughed and confirmed that this is a Worldwide-released game and it shouldn't be missing trophies on the US site. Is anyone else having this issue?

2. We purchased our PS3 at the beginning of the year, and it was the 160GB bundle that came with Uncharted and also a voucher that had a free download code for Pain from the Playstation Store. Since we've bought the PS3, the Pain download has gone corrupt on us twice. The first time this happened, we were able to go into the Downloads list and re-download the game so it would work again. This time, there is no record whatsoever that we've ever had the game. It's not in the Download List in either the Playstation Store or our Transaction Management. I called Sony several times about this, and wasted a whole lot of time, and they keep basically telling me I'm SOL. Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Were you able to get any satisfaction from Sony?

I've spent way too much time on the phone with Sony today and all I've gotten is a lot of frustration, and my intelligence insulted, and a whole bunch of wasted cell phone minutes. :( If anyone can help at all, even if you could point me to a Feedback page for their customer service, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

The boyfriend has been expressing interest in Dragon Age recently (but is short on money to buy it) and his birthday is up this weekend, so I was figuring, eh, why not get it for him?

I just want to be sure it's worth it before *I* go spending the money. :P Since he might stop playing a week later if it's garbage.

Dragon Age: Y/N good game?

Last week, I had a lamb leg steak and, in order to eat the thing in relative piece, I gave the little round bone to Jacoby and Angel to play with. I thought they'd play with it for a bit and then get bored, but it's turned out to be the OMG!Best! Cat!Toy! EVER! We have to take it away from them at night because they make so much noise with it.

Pics or it didn't happen, so...

Jake loves to pick the bone up, take it into our bed and play with it in the blankets.
Lambbone ahoy! )

It's so random, but has anyone else watched Cats 101 on Animal Planet? My husband and I watch that show together. The episode that aired this Saturday had not one, but two of our kitties on it and we didn't even know.... They first tackled the Burmese, and we have a blue burmese named Lex. He is a purebred with papers and the whole deal. Out other three cats were rescue cats. We always assumed Pip was some kind of Maine Coon mix, just because he's so big and fluffy. His markings are unique to say the least, and people usually go nuts over him if we take him out to Petsmart. He turned 4 in April and it never really mattered to us what he was - 'cuz he's a great cat . But we're sitting there watching Cats 101 and after the Bumese a cat popped up on the tv that made both my husband and I gasp. It was Pippin on tv, and I don't mean it sort of looked like him - it was like his twin. The cat was a Siberian, a Russian breed which is not abundant in the US. Steve and I were looking at each other like, what in the world........ if this cat is so rare how did we end up with one from a litter of kittens in a random shelter in Ohio? As it turns out there are two Siberian breeders not terribly far from the location we adopted Pip from. They had the whole litter of kittens, so we're thinking perhaps a pregnant female escaped a breeder. The resemblance is exact. In fact my husband came across one photo online, which I will link you to so you can compare - I swear that this cat could BE Pippin in his earlier years. I'm sure we have pictures just like this one somewhere. http://siberianbeauty.us/31.html

I have a couple of pictures of Pip from when we first brought him home to share. I wish we had one on hand from an age closer to the one on the breeder's site - but we have about 5 million photos, and most of them aren't available to us on our work computers. Anyway, this is Pippin at about 14 weeks I believe. Lex even makes an appearance in the second photo. :) The last one is much more recent, from 2007 I think

Anyway, I just wanted to share and see if anyone had any thoughts on the matter.

Okay, I haven't posted here in a while but I'm in desperate need of a hair cut. I'm trying to grow out my hair as much as I can so I'm not really doing anything with the length. But I do want to get bangs. Every time I get my hair cut and ask for bangs, I always come out with these little puny scraps of hair. So this time I want to find something completely different.

Please ignore my HUGE septum ring. This was right after i got it done.

And not in a fiery wicker conflagration, either.

My hair is growing... EVER SO SLOWLY! but it's growing. And I'm so happy about it! It's taking a long time because after my last hair cut needed some chopping to make it even enough to grow out.

One Year Ago vs. Today )

the colors i've gone through this year (pic heavy) )

i wanna grow it out... contemplating going back blonde. I think i might just not dye it for a long time and then when it fades enough just to go get it super highlighted... that's enough for my hair to go pretty blonde.

Hmmm...someone is looking mighty comfy hanging out where he doesn't belong. Thanks for putting your white tummy on my dark clothes, Hughey! (I have a stackable washer/dryer and had never seen any of the cats attempt to get in the dryer before. Apparently I left the door open and Hughey couldn't resist.)
